Honey Rose

Honey Rose Varghese is known and famous for being an Indian actress who mainly appears in Malayalam films. She also appeared in a few Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. In Honey Rose’s gradual successful career she paired up with the lead superstars of Malayalam film Industry. She starred in notable films such as Kanal, Ittymaani: Made in China and Big Brother with Mohanlal, Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus with Mammooty, Sir C. P. with Jayaram, My God with Suresh Gopi and Ring Master with Dileep.

 

 

Honey Rose was born to Varghese Thomas and Rose. She attended S.H.E.M High School, Moolamattom. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative English from St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva.

 

Starting her career in 2005, Honey Rose acted in the Malayalam film ” Boyy Friendd” directed by Vinayan. The actress played the role of Manikuttan’s girlfriend. In 2006, she accepted her first non-Malayalam project, Ee Varsham Sakshiga in Telugu, which was followed by her first Tamil film, the romantic drama Mudhal Kanave. Honey Rose acted in Muthyala Subbiah’s 50th film Aalayam.

 

Honey Rose’s breakthrough character is that of ‘Dhwani Nambiar’ in Trivandrum Lodge. Her character in Trivandrum Lodge, had given her a new innings in Mollywood. She decided to change her screen name to Dhwani too after her character in Trivandrum Lodge, but she reverted to Honey Rose in Anju Sundarikal.

 

In 2011 she completed one Tamil project, Mallukattu which she signed in 2009 and a Malayalam film, Pithavinum Puthranum Parishudhathmavinum, but the latter is on hold. She plays a nun called Sister Elsita in director Deepesh’s Pithavinum Puthranum Parishudhathmavinum. Honey Rose also acted with Jayasurya in Hotel California and in Thank You as Jayasurya’s wife, with Fahadh in the Anchu Sundarikal featurette called Aami and Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus with Mammootty in which she had a very challenging role as she plays a bold and strong Malayali woman.

 

In 2015, she played Shirley, an aspiring singer and model, who falls in love with a married man in You Too Brutus.

Honey Rose is showing quite a high level of activeness on some social media platforms but she is especially active on Instagram, Facebook. On her Instagram account Instagram, Honey Rose shares her daily life, shows her lifestyle by capturing every moment, interesting occasion of her life. As of May 2022, Honey Rose’s Instagram account has more than 1.3 million followers. As for her Facebook account, on this platform Honey Rose shares the same content as on her Instagram account, however on Facebook she has the biggest audience which exceeds 6 million followers.
