Wil Dasovich

Wil Dasovich is a Filipino American television personality, model and vlogger. He was born on August 26, 1991. The full name of the model is Wil Lising Dasovich. He is known for his vlogs on YouTube and during his career he has appeared on various television shows but most notably on Pinoy Big Brother. Dasovich was born in California, United States to a Croatian-Irish father, merchant mariner Steve Dasovich and a Filipino mother, interior designer Charry Lising. Wil has an older sister named Haley Lising Dasovich, who is also a vlogger. 

 

 

Wil attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Fun Fact: Wil attended university with the little brother of Zac Efron, Dylan Efron. Wil studied business and was accepted into an entrepreneurial internship program. In August 2017, when Dasovich returned to San Francisco he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Wil finished the last cycle of chemotherapy in early 2018. In early February 2018, Wil revealed that he is cancer-free. On February 14, 2018 Dasovich confirmed that he and Alodia Gosiengfio had begun a relationship. Later, in November 2021, Alodia posted a confirmation through her Facebook page that she and Wil have broken up. 

 

After his graduation from college in 2013, Dasocvich travelled around Asia for three months. When he came to the Philippines, he decided to stay to learn its language and culture after his growing fondness for his Filipino roots. During the same year, while having lunch at Greenbelt in Makati, he was discovered and offered a job as a commercial model. For the next two years he appeared in several advertisements in both print and video. 

 

The YouTube channel Dasovich created on November 18, 2014. Dasovich gained recognition when his videos with his father, speaking Swardspeak or “bekinese” went viral. On his main YouTube channel Dasovich covers different aspects of Filipino culture, which he discovers during his travels around the country.  His main channel is Wil Dasovich and has over 2.74 million subscribers. On this channel there are 631 uploaded videos and the total number of views exceeds 298 million. Dasovich started a vlogging group called the #VlogSquad  with fellow YouTubers Daniel Marsh and his sister Haley Dasovich. The three have appeared together in numerous travel vlogs on their respective YouTube channels. As a group they have appeared together in numerous travel vlogs on their respective YouTube channels. As a group they have been endorsers of many large companies including Coca Cola, Converse, Jollibee, Forever 21 and many other notable brands. As for now, Wil has his own YouTube channel, where he posts his travel vlogs and not only. The channel is Wil Dasovich Vlogs, which was created on October 21, 2017. For now this channel has over 979K subscribers. The Instagram account is wil_dasovich, and here he has over 865K followers. As for Twitter, Wil joined this platform in September 2014. His channel is Wil Dasovich and the audience of this platform exceeds 333K followers. The biggest audience Wil has on Facebook.
