Tone Vays

Tone Vays is a Russian American Blockchain Consultant and researcher. He has been involved in the cryptocurrency space for years, creating content that has helped shape blockchain as we know it today. Vays has always been fascinated with the Earth and he channeled his passions into a degree. In 2002, Vay spent four years studying at State University of New York -New Paltz where he earned an undergraduate degree in Geological/ Geophysical Engineering. He worked as a high school teacher in New York City for one year before going on to grad school and obtaining his Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Florida State University, back in  2005.

 

 

Tone Vays is a finance and economic expert who has seen the world of banking up close. He was employed by Bear Stearns in 2008, where he witnessed firsthand their involvement during that year’s financial crisis, afterwards becoming VP Operations MSCI Inc., spending time at Axiomatica before returning once more as Senior Financial Analyst for them again. Vays started his career in blockchain and cryptocurrency four years ago. At first, Tone was a research analyst and writer for CoinTelegraph, where he covered all things related to digital currency including Bitcoin mining hardware as well as initial coin offerings (ICOs). In 2015, Vays became the head of research for Brave New Coin where he helped the development team to create financial products such as The BLX Index to better identify prices in Bitcoin and any given moment. In addition, Tone Vays wrote a weekly market analysis report to identify price trends in BitCoin based on both technicals and fundamentals. 

 

Since 2014, Vays has become an independent consultant and maintains the podcast called Liberty Life Trail, and also the Crypto Scam podcast.  Tone is a regular contributor to the World Crypto Network where he provides technical analysis to his viewers. Tone frequently travels and speaks at different Blockchain conferences all over the world.
