Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson known as The Rock is one of the famous American actors. His first movie is “The Mummy Returns”, although a big part of his audience and fans know him from Fast and Furious. However, Dwayne mentioned in one of his interviews that he will not be starring in any more Fast & Furious movies.

 

Johnson took part in at least 58 movies. The most famous ones are Jungle Cruise, Welcome to the Jungle, Baywatch, Central Intelligence. However, his favorite one is “The Rundown”.  The movie is about a bounty hunter who  visits the Amazon jungle to bring home his boss’s son, Travis. Soon, they find themselves in danger as local goons wish to acquire the priceless artifact in their possession.

 

Johnson became the first third-generation wrestler in the WWE, a legacy that started with his grandfather, American Samoa-born “High Chief” Peter Maivia. He never imagined that he would become a Hollywood star. First, he wanted to be an agent , also a football player. Johnson mentioned also that his family wasn’t rich, but now  Dwayne Johnson is the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. While the figures for 2021 are not yet public, Dwayne topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid Hollywood actors with a staggering $87.5 Million income between June 2019 and June 2022.

Dwayne “The Rock ” Johnson married his wife, Lauren Hashian, in 2019. Dwayne and Lauren have two children together, Jasmine and Tiana. Before Laura Johnson had been married to American businesswoman and producer Dany Garcia. Garcia met Johnson while attending college. Johnson has 3 children.

 

Besides his private life and actor life Johnson is also active in social media. He has charged advertisers more than $1m (£790,000) per post last year, according to the social media marketing firm Hopper HQ. At the moment the number of his followers on Instagram is more than 260 million.
