Wode Maya

Wode Maya is known and famous for being a Ghanaian YouTube personality, vlogger, digital media influencer and aeronautical engineer. ‘Wode Maya’ means ‘My Mother’ in Chinese. In 2017, he took a video in a bus where seats were empty beside him and other passengers stood due to his skin color and the video went viral. In 2021, he was claimed to be one of the Top and Most Influential YouTubers in Africa.

 

 

The real and the full name of the young Youtube personality is considered to be Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, however he is more known for his pseudonym which is Wode Maya. This young person hails from Ahekofi in Kofikrom the Western region of Ghana. Wode Maya was born back on November 8, 1990 and according to astrology the zodiac sign of Wode Mayai is considered to be Scorpion. As of June 2022 Wode Maya is considered to be about 32 years old. 

Wode Mayaalso attended the Beijing Language and Culture University(BLCU). He was still a student when he started vlogging in China about his experiences and later quit his job as Aeronautical engineer.  In December 2021, he started his own real estate company and said it will be known as ‘CHARLIEMAG Estate’ located in East Legon.

Talking about the relationship status of Wode Maya it is surely known that Wode Maya has a Kenyan girlfriend called Miss Trudy who is also a YouTuber.

It is quite important to also mention that Wode Maya donated about $10,000 for a dumpsite to be transformed into a park after he was inspired by a man in Kwahu. In 2021, he also helped to raise about $10,000 to cater for the educational needs of 100 children. Wode Maya claimed it was more than a donation and called on others to take up such deeds.

Wode Maya is showing quite a high level of activeness on various social media platforms which happen to be YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter.  The young Youtuber joined this social media platform and created her YouTube channel back on January 10 2013. So, Wode Maya has more than 9 years of experience on YouTube. As of June 2022, the YouTube channel of Wode Maya has more than 1  million subscribers. On his channel there are about 979 uploaded videos and more than 165 million total number of views. On Instagram Wode Maya has over  120 thousand followers, however on Facebook he has 129 thousand supporters. As for Twitter, Wode Maya joined this platform in 2012 and currently has about 92 thousand followers. The last platform on which Wode Maya has a presence is TikTok and here his audience is very little, about hundred people.
