Vogue is an American monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine that covers many topics, including fashion, beauty, culture, living, and runway. Based in New York City, it began as a weekly newspaper in 1892 before becoming a monthly magazine years later. Since starting up in 1892, Vogue has featured numerous actors, actresses, musicians, models, gymnasts, etc. The largest issue to be published by Vogue magazine was in September 2012 which contained 900 pages

The British Vogue, launched in 1916, was the first international edition, while the Italian version Vogue Italia has been called the top fashion magazine in the world.  As of today, there are 26 international editions.

Few magazines can boast that they have been parodied in a Hollywood film called The Devil Wears Prada or immortalised as the title of a classic Madonna track. But Vogue is not just iconic, it is also consistently named as a must-read among people and also PR professionals. Vogue is in a league of its own. Vogue mentions that they have no direct competitors across the board. Occasionally Vogue may be competing with a national newspaper or another monthly glossy, but they always produce something that is unique and different.
