However, Pestily is not your typical gamer. Pestily, whose real name is Paul is an Australian who has been in the business since 2017. He was once a soldier, but he went on to focus his time and energy on playing Escape from Tarkov. He went on to become one of Australia’s top-ranked Escape from Tarkov players and focused his attention on this hardcore survival shooter game exclusively as well!

 

Pestily had a massive hit on Twitch overnight in early 2020 and shot to number 1. He benefited from the enormous success of Escape from Tarkov, which is one reason he was so successful, but it also featured unique gameplay elements that made his channel even more memorable than most other people’s content!

 

Escape From Tarkov has been a huge phenomenon on Twitch for quite some time now. The Escape from Tarkov phenomenon has been generating impressive numbers for quite some time now – it’s not uncommon at this point for one player or another to come up big during peak hours of viewership! Pestily is one of the few streamers who managed to break through and get his own dedicated audience. He was able to take advantage of all these opportunities and keep his audience captivated by his gameplay.

 

For Pestily, the breakthrough occurred on January 2nd. The developers at Pestily have released a new system that gives players special in-game items for watching streams on Twitch.

 

Since then, Pestily’s social media stream has been a legend. During this event, Pestily streamed over 125 hours in a week on Twitter. That’s not enough to break any record, but it’s an impressive amount considering there are only 168 hours per week.

 

Not many people can compete with Pestily when it comes to streaming Escape from Tarkov. Some other popular streamers also play Escape from Tarkov, but no one can match the success Pestily has had with it. Some have their problems when they first start playing, as there’s a lot of things going on at once, and some people are finding difficulty in understanding all aspects of gameplay mechanics.

 

Even though Twitch Drops were deactivated, and Pestily’s enormous number of views has gone, he still continued getting double the amount he had before.  

 

In 2020, Pestily held a one-of-a-kind charity campaign. He has vowed not to get any donations during the year and instead focused entirely on charity events as an opportunity of giving back some of his success!

 

Pestily called on his viewers to donate to a child’s charity. He wanted his fans to pledge their money for charity instead of donating it to him so that he could help out some children who are in need of medical treatment.
