Maple

We all know and agree that dogs are our best friends but have you ever thought that they could be our bandmates as well? I’d assume no. Well, Maple has cracked the code and while her owner Trench plays the guitar, she sometimes plays the drums. But when she doesn’t feel like playing, she just sits on his lap and enjoys the melody. Maple’s owner is known as Acoustic Trench and has a YouTube channel with over 2.2 Million subscribers, where he uploads his and Maple’s covers. Some of their well-known covers are “All I want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey, “Billy Jean” by Michael Jackson, “What a wonderful world” by Louis Armstrong, and many others. Maple became famous and has over 350K followers on Instagram.

Maple is a mix of fetching border collie, golden retriever, and sheltie mix. It was 12 years ago that Trench adopted her from a rescue shelter and instantly fell in love with the adorable thing. He shared a story about Maple saving his life. Once they were walking down the street and the dog suddenly stopped. Trench was very confused and then it made sense. A moment later a huge tree fell on their path. And that’s when he realized how important she was for him.

Unfortunately, Maple is not with us today. On June 16th, 2021 she peacefully passed away in Trench’s arms. Trench says Maple was not only his adventure buddy, but also has been with him through hardships and loved him unconditionally.
