It’s not just because Sterling Newton has a goofy personality and is so funny that people love to follow his adventures online. They say laughter is the best medicine, and with an Instagram account like this which is full of dog jokes, you can be sure to get your daily dose of entertainment and fun. It also helps that he uploads photos and videos of himself all over town, even if it means getting dirty! He loves making memories with family members who enjoy following along with the fun. Surely 307 thousand followers can’t be wrong about this pup’s charm.
When Diane and her husband’s sons were just kids, they always wanted a dog, but their busy lives never allowed them the time. They were so busy with sports when they were growing up that it just never seemed like the right time for them until now! However, after growing up, Diane’s sons had finally decided to get a family dog. With goldens being such an active breed and Diane absolutely loving dogs in general, it was only natural this would be something she could not pass up on getting either. And let’s be honest, what could be better than getting your own canine companion after years spent dreaming about it?
It’s not hard to see from where Sterling got his cute, cuddly personality. From a young age, Newton was always “the one” that you needed in your life, whether it be as someone who would make people laugh or keep them company! Though he never set out with any intentions of becoming an internet sensation, things just turned into something different when Facebook and Instagram were introduced – which led him to get his own page for each social media site separately: first came the Instagram page, followed soon after by the Facebook account showcasing mugshots and video clips alike.
After Sterling’s mom posted funny videos of him online, she started adding captions. Following a few days of filming and posting new content daily, they amassed an enormous following which grew even more over time!
Sterling’s videos are a hit with viewers, and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down. The best moments of his videos are when you can’t help but laugh out loud at the candid shots he takes. Whether Sterling is getting into character or just showing us what life looks like on an average day, there’s always something worth watching! Sterling’s videos have become a way for Diane to interact with and entertain their fans. All the work Sterling and Diane put into the channel is undoubtedly worth it. That being said, there is definitely a downside to this lifestyle and one major drawback in particular: 24/7 commitment! Sometimes hate and negativity find their way through all the kindness and support as well. However, the Newtons are fully committed to their cause and won’t let anything pull them down especially with the new addition to their family, another golden retriever called Colin.
