Jaden Newman

Jaden was born in Orlando, Florida, and grew up with her brother Julian, also a talented basketball player. Her father, Jamie, has been a significant influence, coaching her from a young age. Her mother, Vivian Gonzalez, remains more private about her occupation, but both parents have supported Jaden’s basketball career from the start.

 

 

With dreams of becoming the first woman in the NBA, this basketball prodigy has been in the spotlight for a while. Jaden’s love for basketball started early, with her father training her and Julian from the third grade. Both siblings achieved the impressive milestone of scoring over 1,000 career points at the varsity prep level.

The Newmans are one of the most famous athletic families in the USA. Their family gained even more fame through their reality TV series, “Hello Newmans.” Jaden starred in “Hello Newmans,” a reality TV series about her family. The show was produced by Overtime and aired on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. 

Jaden isn’t just a basketball star; she’s also a social media sensation. With over a million followers on Instagram and 750K followers on TikTok, she shares glimpses of her life and family and promotes various brands. She’s endorsed products for big names like Fendi, Trust None.la, Wilson Basketball, and Fashion Nova.

Jaden’s basketball journey started at just 5 years old, and by 9, she was competing against high school players. During the 2014-2015 season, she averaged 14.8 points, 7.5 assists, and 5 steals per game. By 10, she played on the AAU circuit, known for her ball-handling, court vision, and scoring ability.

In 2017, at just 12 years old, Jaden committed to play college basketball at the University of Miami, making history as one of the youngest recruits ever. She’s also excelled academically, maintaining a high GPA.

 

In addition to basketball, Jaden has ventured into music. In 2019, she released her debut single, “I Run It,” featuring Chandler Broom.

As for her personal life, Jaden is currently single despite rumors linking her to Lamelo Ball.
