Akidearest is known for being a Filipino American YouTube star. The full name is considered to be Agnes Yulo Diego. Agnes Yulo Diego was born in 1993, however, the exact day and month are unknown.  The birthplace of Agnes is Bakersfield, California, U.S. Akidearest is best known for discussing anime, manga, otaku culture and Japanese related content on her YouTube channel. 

 

 

Akidearest was born in Bakersfield, California and she was raised in Virginia. Then, eventually, Akidearest moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. The parents of Agnes are of Filipino descent and they migrated to the United States of America prior to her birth. Aki also spent about four years in military school during her high school years. Akidearest’s earliest jobs include working at a thrift shop, bookstore and movie theater, while she was attending college full time. After completing a degree in psychology at university, Aki decided to pursue YouTube as a career and a full-time job. In 2019, Aki also appeared as a cameo in the Nintendo Switch game, The World Next Door by Rose City Games. Later in 2020, Aki interviews a Japanese guitarist MIYAVI at YouTube Studios. Aki was also a co-host for the SBS Podcast titled “ The Anime show”, together with Joey, known as The Anime Man.

 

On November 4, 2016, Akidearest and Joey from The Anime Man revealed that they were dating. They had a long distance relationship for two years until Aki revealed that she moved to Japan to live with Joey on January 19, 2019.
