Jess and Stephen, now baby Hunter too are better known as Flying the Nest. They have a YouTube channel with over 1 Million subscribers and an Instagram account with 100K followers. The young couple fell in love with traveling and decided to document everything and bring viewers along the journey. They wanted to leave their home and explore the world, hence the name “Flying the Nest”. They have been to over 80 countries and have 113 more to go.

But let’s start from the beginning. Stephen and Jess have been together since they were 17. They traveled as much as they could while they were studying at university and in 2014 created a blog to write about their experiences. After graduation, both of them had full-time jobs. Stephen worked at a marketing firm and Jess was a primary school teacher. But their true passion remained traveling. In 2015 they quit their jobs and booked a one-way ticket to Hawaii.

And ever since they have been living out of a suitcase and filming it. By watching Flying the Nest videos you can find out where to stay, what dishes to try, and fun things to do in each place they travel to. Some of their favorite places to visit were New York City, Dubai, and Turkey. The most viewed videos are them eating different meals in different countries, and the most popular one has over 5 Million views. Jess and Stephen have their own podcast as well. They share untold travel stories, which are very entertaining but also enlightening as the couple talks about things that could happen to anybody so better be attentive and take notes.

In June 2020 their baby girl Hunter was born. She changed their lives completely. They say it was the perfect time to have a baby as they couldn’t travel due to COVID-19 anyway. The young family currently lives in their homeland Australia. But now that everything is slowly going back to normal, Jess and Stephen have made up their minds to travel soon. They cannot live without traveling and they want to show other young families how to make their experience enjoyable even with a baby to take care of. They’ve also made the decision to homeschool Hunter so the whole family can still explore the world.
