Garrett Sutton is a YouTuber and social media influencer from the United States who has become famous for his YouTube channel, JoblessGarrett. He has been a YouTube sensation since he started uploading gaming videos. Garret posts gaming videos on the site that have attracted millions of views to date. He’s amassed a vast and dedicated following, all thanks to the captivating content that flows from Garrett’s fingertips every day!

 

 

JoblessGarrett was hooked on the Grand Theft Auto games from a young age. He first played when he was about 13 years old but didn’t get his hands on console versions until after GTA V came out – and one of Jobless’ friends encouraged him to buy it! As a result, he became fascinated with the game, and he’s been playing it ever since. 

 

Garrett was an avid gamer all of his life, and he knew that gaming channels were becoming more popular. He had seen the success other people have had with their own Youtube Channels by creating content which is why it seemed like a natural progression for him to start one too.

 

Garrett’s channel is a great example of how to start and maintain an Internet presence.  As the name of the channel implies, it was formed when Garrett was unemployed. He set up his in September 2011, uploading the first video within days, after which it became clear that he had found something worth investing time into. He created the Jobless channel with his friends, but they eventually grew bored and left for other things to do.  Garrett’s YouTube channel is now all him. 

 

In 2013 JoblessGarrett started streaming full-time after graduating from Florida International University with an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing. When his family didn’t think he’d make it as an influencer, they were prepared to hold him back. But after seeing how successful and lucrative YouTube has become for Garrett – they had no choice but to accept his decision.

 

Garrett initially started out with almost nothing, but he built up his audience and became a YouTube success story little by little. Garrett was always a creative guy, and his love for YouTube started as just another hobby. It took some time, but eventually, he found success with it becoming more than what we initially thought. The hobby turned into a full-time career, and something that started out as just for fun became one of the primary sources of income to support himself financially!

 

Today, JoblessGarrett posts new videos on a regular basis. The channel has gathered more than 1.8 million subscribers and over 310 million views in the past years.

 

Garrett continues to post gaming content on a regular basis. However, he also vlogs and does Q&A videos in order to reach out even more of his audience base through other platforms as well. Garrett Sutton has over 292 thousand Instagram followers, 237 thousand Twitter followers, and about 161 thousand Facebook followers. But JoblessGarrett doesn’t stop there: Garrett is also quite active on Mixer and Twitch, where he provides his fans with constant entertainment.
