Michael Gu is a blockchain investor, analyst, educator and the founder and the creator of Boxmining. There is no information about Michael’s family or birthday, however it is known that he is from Hong-Kong, Asia.  Gu studied in Imperial College, located in London.

Michael Gu has been involved in a digital asset and Blockchain space since 2012. He mentions that something that he noticed immediately was that accurate information is hard to come by in this space. More often than not, they find extremely biased information that exploits the complexity of blockchain to obscure facts. Michael has been around the Bitcoin and blockchains, he had many successes but also he has done some mistakes. 

Back in February 2018, Michael worked in Plair Limited as an advisor, in this company he worked about three years and nine months. 

In January 2020, Michael Gu worked as a part-time strategic advisor at the Genesis Block HK. Later in May, Gu had a part-time job also  as a strategic advisor at Hacken Cybersecurity Services.  

After a year, in January, 2021, Gu worked in Refinable as a full-time employee for 10 months. Here he was also working as a strategic advisor.

Michael started Boxmining back in 2017, mainly as a passion project, in order to educate people on digital assets and share his experiences. Being based in Asia, helped him to find a huge discrepancy between digital asset trends and the knowledge gap between China and the West. As a result, Michael leveraged his knowledge and positioning to bridge that information gap and to let people know what is truly happening in the world.
