Engagement rate is determined based upon an influencer’s activity, engagement, and consistency on their social media accounts. Often, the engagement rate is calculated upon dividing the total number of engagement, such as likes and comments, by the total number of followers. This gives you a proper understanding of the overall connection and relationship an account has with its followers, thus its value when choosing a representative or affiliate to spread the word about your product.
