Click Bait

Everyone who uses social media knows about the exaggerated titles of videos and posts that many influencers and channels use to spark your attention. “10 Hacks That Will Change Your Life,” “Lose 20 Pounds In A Week,” simple dramatic statements like “I’m So Done…” and my personal favorite ironic statement, “NOT CLICKBAIT”. This kind of Click Bait is so common, you will never have to scour the Internet to find it… since naturally, the Internet is often full of many, many false promises, in hopes of getting people to click and grow their channel’s traffic. Often this kind of curious marketing tactic works, but recently, people have caught onto the fraudulent nature of these video titles so here’s your fair warning.
